- Network Project - This is a presentation about how Networks function.
- Instructional Software - This is a presentation about how instructional software functions, and the benefits of integrating instructional software into 7th grade ELA classroom.
- Interactive Presentation - Intro to Civil Rights - I created this presentation in Google Slides as an introduction to a 7th grade ELA Civil Rights thematic unit.
- Spreadsheet/Database Lesson Ideas - This page shows how spreadsheets can be useful in a 7th grade ELA class, and gives a few potential lesson ideas.
- Hypermedia Integration - For this project, I created an instructional video for beginning of the year procedures along with lesson plans for using it.
- Integrating the Internet: A Writing Lesson - The lesson I created for this unit uses several Internet resources to help the students write an essay about their lives. This lesson is part of a 7th grade ELA Civil Rights thematic unit.
- Social Networking and Community Building - This project uses social networking to enhance two 7th grade ELA units: an argumentative writing unit, and a civil rights thematic unit.
- Adaptive/Assistive Technology - This project looks at how different types of adaptive and assistive technology can help students with cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities. It also explores technologies to enhance learning for at-risk students and gifted and talented students.
- Language Arts Learning Activity - This activity is part of a cross-curricular thematic unit on Shakespeare and the Renaissance. In this lesson, students create an illustrated story book of one of Shakespeare's plays.
- Social Studies Learning Activity - This activity is part of a cross-curricular thematic unit on Shakespeare and the Renaissance. In this activity, students use primary source materials available on the Internet to learn about the Renaissance.
- Art, Music, and PE Learning Activity - This activity is part of a cross-curricular thematic unit on Shakespeare and the Renaissance. In this activity, students create a fight scene for Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and play music written for Shakespeare's plays.
